LG Electronics offers energy storage systems (ESS) to optimize the self-consumption share of photovoltaic systems. LG's DC-coupled ESS converts electrical energy more efficiently than AC-coupled ESS. This allows the LG ESS to achieve higher efficiency. In addition, the LG ESS generates three-phase alternating current, so that no unbalanced loads can occur. The emergency power supply can be ensured via an additional switch box. The web monitoring function allows installers and users to check the system status at any time and from anywhere.
