With the Solar.wattpilot app, the charging solution can be easily commissioned and operated. It also offers the user a visually appealing overview of the status of the loads. The app is the only user interface that is required to operate all functions easily and clearly. A charging solution must be able to follow the sun: If there is a lot of solar energy available, a lot of refueling is done; if there is little available, less is refueled.
The Fronius Wattpilot can optimally utilize the PV surplus and regulates it in 1 amp steps up to the maximum charging power. The Fronius Wattpilot can switch between single-phase and three-phase charging. This means that the entire PV surplus from 1.38 kW to 22 kW is used.
The charging takes place in amp steps, the one/three phase switching is fully automatic. The Wattpilot also has two different charging modes, Eco and Next Trip Mode. Depending on the situation, the electric vehicle is charged either very economically or specifically with the desired amount of energy for the next planned route. Eco mode is ideal for PV system owners because it combines the PV excess charging. With Next Trip Mode you can load the energy into your car for a specific route.
